I have been a customer of Jim's for around 15 years. That alone should say something about the quality of their work! They have ALWAYS been fair, respectable, fast and guarantee their work and throw in a few cornball jokes for free. I am suspicious of the negative reviews, particularly the other repair shop owner who is clearly trying to do what he accuses Jim of - "stealing" customers. The other negative review - a 93 year old driver living on $250 a month, pays $1500 to fix her car and then writes Google reviews? Seriously? While possible, this is a poorly disguised fake review written by a competitor, and registers a 9.99 on my BS meter. I find it interesting that both negative reviews were written on exactly the same day! If you want a honest mechanic and a few corny jokes thrown in for good measure, this is the place.

Every time I go to Jim's The staff treats me like a family member. They are honest and helpful. When ever they spot a problem they tell let me know before they start any repairs. I have been going for years and will continue to use them as long as they stay open.

We have been having our cars/trucks serviced at Jim's Automotive for approximately 10 years. We have always been happy with the staff members and all of the services Jim's has provided. I recommend Jim's to anyone.

My car is running like a top. I thought long and hard before having such extensive repairs on my VW Beetle. I appreciate the time Jim spent explaining the repairs needed and what I could expect when the job was done. Everything turned out just like Jim said it would and I really appreciate all the guys down there for an excellent job. I had just had a horrible experience with another shop and Jim re-established my faith in the auto repair business. Thank you all very much.

I've been taking my cars to Jim's since I was a teenager. They have always given me affordable prices and usually beat everyone in town. They always keep me up to date on upcoming service needs and if I can't afford something they have solutions that will not break the bank to keep my car running. These people on here complaining about dishonesty must of gone to some other mechanic because Jim has always treated me with courtesy and respect.

Jim's is a great place for service – I would like to thank Jim's for always taking good care of my family's cars. I like how he is always giving back to the community too. Last month I dropped off my Toys for Tots donation, because they were collecting. I definitely recommend Jim's automotive.!

OK, my Toyota is old but I love it. 120,000 miles, it has a name, etc. I keep it well maintained and it in return brings me where I need to go. I had been taking it to the dealership and all was fine until one day they told me I needed repairs that I simply believed were unnecessary! Just a feeling, I had no way of knowing. So, I took it into Jim's place. The guys at the front desk LISTENED to me, which can be unusual. Their estimate was about equal to the dealership, except that they told me I was partially right and didn't need the extensive repairs the dealership said, just a fraction of them. A couple of weeks later I heard a rattling, took it back into Jim's, it was a follow up loose bolt due to old car issues, and that of course was free (and took just about 10 minutes). Great experience, I still get oil changes elsewhere but for real repairs, they were excellent.

I have never been one of those people who has a "car guy" but, all the guys who work at Jim's are exceptional. I started taking my Jeep Liberty there about a year and a half ago, when my boyfriend and I got together, because that's where he's taken his cars for years. At Jim's their quality of service and know how is amazing! My BF say's they're expensive for some things, but being one who has only dealt with dealerships, I find them to be refreshingly inexpensive for what you actually get! You do want to make sure that you make an appointment, as they are really busy and booked up. But, once you have your appointment, all you have to do is drop your car off and they'll get it done fast!These guys are smart, fast and nice!I'm a little sad that I can't take them with me when I move to Austin in a few months, but, they know a good mechanic's place there too! I trust who they will send me to!
